Victoria Klum is an award-winning photographer and best-selling author who currently lives and works in Cary, North Carolina.

Her work is a reflection of her life. They include scenes from her daily commutes and explorations around the San Francisco Bay Area, where she lived for 24 years, as well as images from her hometown of Portland, Oregon and travels around North Carolina.

Having shot film (35mm and medium format) most of her life, she appreciates the slowness and intentionality of her medium. Her body of work is all about stopping, observing, and capturing scenes and moments that most people pass by without noticing.

Victoria’s photography has been displayed at the Rock, Paper, Scissors Collective in Oakland California, as part of the “Don’t Fail Me Now” exhibit (August, 2006), and at the Frank Bette Center for the Arts in Alameda, California (“Alameda on Camera” exhibit: 2012, 2014). Her image, “Crossing Timelines,” won the Historic Alameda Award in the 2012 AOC exhibition.

She has been featured as a contributing editor and photographer for online soccer publications and published a personal essay in the Amazon best-selling book, “The Power Within: Somatic & Spiritual Stories of Resilience” (pub. 2025). She has volunteered as a writer and photographer for Best Friend Pet Adoption, a Cary-based pet rescue organization, since 2018. Victoria founded Magic Turtle Studios in February, 2026 as a way to share her journey as an artist.
